Palestine Mediator Reports Mission Completed
Dr. Bunche arrived at UN Headquarters today and will shortly ask the Security Council to relieve him of his responsibilities as Mediator since the cessation of the military action and the signing of the armistice agreements have made the position redundant. Dr. Bunche will then take an extended leave before returning to his post as Director of the United Nations Trusteeship Department.
