Dr. Ralph Bunche Visits the Republic of the Congo
Dr. Ralph J. Bunche, Under-Secretary for Special Political Affairs, left New York on the morning of Sunday, 21 October, for a short visit to the Congo. At the request of the Acting Secretary-General, Dr. Bunche, will be carrying out extensive consultations regarding the work of the United Nations Operation in the Congo (ONUC) with the Officer-in-Charge, the Commander of the Force, and other senior officials and officers.
