Security Council Unanimously Calls on Syria to Detain Suspects in Hariri Murder
Mihai Rãzvan Ungureanu (right, seated), Minister for Foreign Affairs of Romania, just before the Security Council meeting which unanimously adopted resolution 1636 (2005), today at UN Headquarters. The resolution calls on Syria to detain Syrian suspects identified by the UN International Independent Investigation Commission into the assassination of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri or face "further action" if it does not comply.
