Security Council Approves Establishment of UNAVEM III
The Security Council authorized the establishment of the United Nations Angola Verification Mission (UNAVEM III) to help the Government of Angola and the National Union for the Total Independence of Angola (UNITA) restore peace and achieve national reconciliation.
