Description
"Making Their Way", a new United Nations film, examines some of the issues surrounding working women. Filmed in five countries -- Czechoslovakia, Ecuador, Lesotho, Norway, and Singapore -- it shows women from different economic and social levels working in a variety of jobs, from workers in Ecuador to skilled professionals in Singapore. It emphasizes the impact of working women to the paradoxical need for equality in career opportunities and advancement, as well as personal growth.
