Secretary-General António Guterres speaks to journalists on the countries affected by the recent hurricanes Irma, Harvey and Maria. He announced that he would travel on 7 October to Antigua, Barbuda and Dominica to survey the damage and to assess what more the United Nations can do to help people recover, as well as visiting the relief operations taking place there. The Secretary-General also urged once again the world’s nations to implement the Paris Agreement on climate change, and with greater ambition.
