Description
The Secretary-General spoke at the opening of the 61st Session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) this morning. In his remarks, he said that in a male dominated world, the empowerment of women must be a key priority.

The Special Representative for Somalia, Michael Keating, has condemned this morning’s bomb blasts at two locations in Mogadishu that reportedly killed a number of civilians.
